1. About ExieCare
ExieCare is a digital health companion service that helps UK patients understand healthcare correspondence, manage appointments, and know their rights. ExieCare is operated as an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the National Health Service (NHS) or any other healthcare provider.
ExieCare does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All content generated by ExieCare is for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older to use ExieCare. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at hello@exiecare.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ExieCare to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, or belongs to another person without their consent. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or exploit any part of the service.
5. AI-generated content
ExieCare uses artificial intelligence to summarise and explain healthcare documents. While we take care to provide accurate and helpful summaries, AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. You should always verify important information with your healthcare provider. ExieCare is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated summaries.
6. Subscriptions and billing
ExieCare offers a free tier and a paid ExieCare Plus subscription at £4.99/month. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We offer a full refund within the first month of a paid subscription if you are not satisfied — contact hello@exiecare.co.uk.
7. Data and privacy
Your use of ExieCare is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal and health data. By using ExieCare, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExieCare is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Your continued use of ExieCare after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
